STOTT PILATES® Intensive CCB Course 

 

The Intensive Cadillac, Chair and Barrels course consists of three mini courses relating to each piece of equipment. The content of each of these mini courses is outlined below.

Intensive Cadillac - ICAD

ICAD prepares you to teach Level 1 (Essential and Intermediate) exercises on the Cadillac. By the end of this course you will be able to fine-tune personal and circuit training programs to meet a variety of clients' conditioning goals with 125 exercises on the Cadillac Trapeze Table. Beyond the general course objectives , you will learn:

  • Effective use of the equipment to enhance torso stability and strength, peripheral extremity conditioning, joint stability, flexibility, balance and coordination
  • How to develop dynamic programs in a full studio environment
  • Essential and Intermediate exercises and variations
  • Effective communication and observational skills, verbal cueing and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation
  • Modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions
  • Exercise layering related to effective program design

Prerequisites

  • Intensive Mat or Reformer

Duration

  • Minimum 10 hours observation
  • Minimum 15 hours physical review
  • Minimum 10 hours practice teaching
  • Total: 25 hours

 

Intensive Stability Chair™ - ICHR

ICHR prepares you to teach Level 1 (Essential and Intermediate) exercises on the Stability Chair. By the end of this course you will be able to fine-tune personal and circuit training programs to meet a variety of clients' conditioning goals with 63 exercises on the Stability Chair. Beyond the general course objectives , you will learn:

  • Effective use of the equipment to enhance torso stability and strength, peripheral extremity conditioning, joint stability, flexibility, balance and coordination
  • How to develop dynamic programs in a full studio environment
  • Effective communication and observational skills, verbal cueing and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation
  • Modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions
  • Exercise layering related to effective program design

Prerequisites

  • Intensive Mat or Intensive Reformer

Duration

  • Minimum 5 hours observation
  • Minimum 10 hours physical review
  • Minimum 10 hours practice teaching
  • Total: 10 hours

 

Intensive Barrels - IBRL

IBRL prepares you to teach Level 1 (Essential and Intermediate) exercises on the Barrels. By the end of this course you will be able to fine-tune personal and circuit training programs to meet a variety of clients' conditioning goals with 98 exercises on the Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector and Arc Barrel. Beyond the general course objectives , you will learn:

Effective use of equipment to enhance torso stability and strength, peripheral extremity training, joint stability, flexibility, balance and coordination

How to develop dynamic programs in a full studio environment

Effective communication and observational skills, verbal cueing and imagery for performance enhancement and client motivation

Modifications for specific body types, postural issues and conditions

Exercise layering related to effective program design

Prerequisites

  • Intensive Mat or Intensive Reformer

Duration

  • Minimum 5 hours observation
  • Minimum 10 hours physical review
  • Minimum 5 hours practice teaching
  • Total: 10 hours

NB - Students must attend all of the course tuition time. If a student due to unforseen circumstances is forced to miss course tuition time then approximately half of the missed tuition time must be made up with the Instructor Trainer outside normal course hours. This extra tuition will be at the expense of the student involved. Under no circumstances is it possible to transfer a booked place from one course to a subsequent course.

Please Note - STOTT PILATES® courses must be booked and paid for in advance by Litton Lane Training without the possibility of course fee refunds, irrespective of the circumstances. Therefore, it is Litton Lane Training policy that course fee deposits are non-refundable. (Strict limit of 12 students per course)
